A Note on Pull Exercises

If using Evolve Grips for pull exercises where there is a risk that the weights can shift out of your hands (eg. a deadlift or row), you must use lifting straps to secure your grasp of the weights. Note however that the use of lifting straps reduces the grip strength component of an exercise, as you can rely on the straps rather than on your grip strength.

Incompatible Exercises

Do not use Evolve Grips for exercises that require your grip to change mid-movement (such as the ‘Clean and Jerk’ or ‘Snatch’).
