Evolve Grips are suitable for people of all fitness levels, from workout novice to professional athletes to those in the armed forces. They are available in 3 different thicknesses (Comfort, Performance and Power), to help you achieve your specific goals and reach your full potential.

Evolve Grips are versatile, and can be used for numerous exercises, including the bench press, shoulder press and biceps curl. They are ideal for use in push movements, however you can view the Exercises page for a full list of suitable exercises.

If using Evolve Grips for pull exercises where there is a risk that the weights can shift out of your hands (eg. a deadlift or row), you must use lifting straps to secure your grasp of the weights. Note however that the use of lifting straps reduces the grip strength component of an exercise, as you can rely on the straps rather than on your grip strength. 

Do not use Evolve Grips for exercises that require your grip to change mid-movement (such as the ‘Clean and Jerk’ or ‘Snatch’).

The bevelled rims on Evolve Grips allow them to fit onto a wider range of dumbbells and barbells (including angled EZ bars), as well as a variety of equipment handles.

There are 2 criteria required for Evolve Grips to fit safely and securely onto your equipment:

1. The diameter of your bar or handle must be between 1” and 1½” (between 25mm and 38mm), and
2. Your bar or handle must be straight, and at least 4¾” (12cm) long
   

Evolve Grips are not suitable for neoprene dumbbells or kettlebells with tapered or curved handles.

Note: depending on the diameter of your bar or handle, there may be a gap at the opening of your grips. A slight gap is perfectly normal, and your Evolve Grips are still safe to use, so long as you are holding them correctly and the diameter of your bar or handle falls within the above ranges.

Evolve Grips can be used on a range of exercise equipment, such as resistance tube handles, dip bars, cable machine handles and many more!
